COVID-19 Testing
We offer COVID-19 testing to established patients in our office using a nasal swab or saliva test. This is PCR testing and results take roughly 48-72 hours. Anyone can get this test, whether or not they have symptoms of COVID-19. Please schedule an acute appointment to be seen for COVID-19 testing. Acute slots are opened up daily, but if you don’t see an opening on the online schedule, please call to get in same-day or next-day: 603-707-4433

​If you’re in need of rapid testing (antigen testing), where results are available as soon as 15 minutes later, here are the locations in NH where rapid testing is offered. This testing is done on symptomatic patients only.

​​Telemedicine Available
  • Telemedicine is a convenient and easy way to access healthcare from a distance. ​
  • Appointments with Dr. Haff last 30-90 minutes and are conducted over secure video or phone. 
  • If your insurance plan normally covers in-office visits, it will also cover Telemedicine.

COVID-19 Plan

The Re-opening Plan for Lilac Natural Medicine follows state, federal, and general medical guidelines from several sources in an effort to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. The plan is updated periodically as new guidance is released.

Patient Responsibilities
  • Please notify us ahead of an in-person visit if you have respiratory symptoms or have had close contact with someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
  • You will be asked pre-screening questions the day before and upon arrival for your visit (see below).
  • Stay in your car until notified that we're ready for you. Please enter through Unit 5.  
  • Children over the age of 5 and all adults are required to wear a mask while at the office, per NH Emergency Order 74, building, and practice policies. Never place a mask on a child under the age of 2. We can provide a mask if needed.
  • Your temperature will be taken before entering the treatment room. The provider will wear additional personal protective equipment if your temperature is over 100.0°. 
  • Please use hand sanitizer or wash hands upon arrival and use good hand hygiene while at the office.
  • You will be given the COVID-19 & Telemedicine Consent form to sign at your visit or through the patient portal (see below). 
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet, when possible.
  • Exit through Unit 4.
  • If you're in need of a supplement refill, call or send a message through the patient portal to arrange for pick-up or shipping. Walk-ins are not allowed.
 
Patients with Respiratory symptoms
  • Please notify us ahead of an in-person visit if you have any respiratory symptoms or have had close contact with someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
  • We offer COVID-19 testing to established patients (nasopharyngeal and saliva). Schedule an Acute appointment to be seen for COVID-19 testing. Results usually take ~48-72 hours from the time of collection. 
  • Patients with respiratory symptoms should be especially diligent about mask use, hand-washing/sanitizing, and social distancing during their visit.
  • We ask that patients come to the visit with as few people as possible to reduce the risk of transmission.​

Provider Responsibilities
Dr. Haff will:
  • Wear a mask at all times. When appropriate, utilize additional PPE such as gloves, gown, face shield, and eye protection.
  • Wash or sanitize hands before and after screening the patient, before and after physical exam, at the end of the visit, and any other time it’s necessary.
  • Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet, when possible.
  • Fully sanitize the room between each patient.
  • Run an air purifier in the room.

The Building
  • Per NH Emergency Order 74 and Building Management, masks are to be worn by all adults and children over the age of 5.
  • The waiting room is closed. Please wait in your car until notified that we're ready for you. 
  • Patients will enter through Unit 5 (the regular entrance) and exit through Unit 4 to reduce passing others in the halls.
  • High touch areas, such as doorknobs, faucets, light switches, etc. are wiped down regularly throughout the day. Hallway doors remain open to reduce contact with doorknobs.
  • The building is cleaned regularly, in addition to periodic deep cleaning. 
 
Pre-Screening Questions

You will be asked pre-screening questions the day before and upon arrival for your visit.

In the past 14 days have you:
  • Developed any symptoms of acute illness such as:
    • Cough
    • Fever (temperature over 100.0°)
    • Shortness of breath
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Chills
    • Sore Throat
    • New loss of taste/smell
    • Any other cold/flu symptoms
  • Had any close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19?
  • Traveled internationally, by cruise ship, or domestically outside of NH, VT, or ME on public transportation (eg. bus, plane or train, etc.)?
